The Wall is a place for men to share a win, ask for advice, or get something off their chest — without judgement. To keep it useful and safe, everyone follows the same simple rules.
The basics
- Be respectful. Disagree with the point, not the person. No personal attacks.
- Be supportive. People post here when things are hard. Meet them with decency.
- Keep it relevant. Share real experiences, questions and advice — not promotions.
Not allowed
- Harassment, threats or intimidation of anyone.
- Hate speech or attacks based on race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or nationality.
- Illegal content, or encouraging others to break the law.
- Sexually explicit or exploitative content.
- Personal information / doxxing — never post your own or anyone else's private details (full name, address, phone, workplace).
- Spam, scams, or advertising, including referral or affiliate links.
- Dangerous advice — nothing that could seriously harm someone's health, safety or finances.
- Encouraging self-harm or suicide. If you're struggling, please reach out — see our support resources.
- Promoting gambling or other harmful behaviour.
- Impersonation of another person or of HelpForMan.
- Copyright infringement — only post content you have the right to share.
A note on "anonymous" posts
Posting anonymously hides your name from other members. It is not fully anonymous: your post is still linked to your account, and our moderators can identify who posted it so we can enforce these rules. Never rely on anonymity to share things you wouldn't want tied back to you.
Reporting & moderation
- Every post has a Report control. Use it if you see something that breaks these rules — reports are private and reporters are never shown publicly.
- We may remove posts, and restrict or remove accounts, that break these guidelines.
- Repeat or serious offenders may be permanently removed.
- Moderation decisions are made at our discretion to keep the community safe.
In an emergency
The community is not a crisis service and no one here can provide emergency help. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline — see our support resources.
